Objectives in Africa

  • Partner with existing orphanage centers to establish orphanage academies that provide multi-disciplinary education and training to orphaned and vulnerable youth;
  • Reverse regional trends on the worsening state of Africa’s children in the areas of health, education, and gender parity through well-researched and results-based initiatives;
  • Foster a commitment to social responsibility in our youth and staff, encouraging them to work collaboratively to develop local development solutions for community needs and challenges.

Objectives in the United States

  • Provide a service learning opportunity to young adults and adults in the U.S.;
  • Raise awareness and develop partnerships to advance the cause of empowering vulnerable youth in struggling communities;
  • Connect disadvantaged youth in the U.S. with children overseas through creative leadership and educational programs that foster global thinking, enrich perspectives, and develop international relations.

Global Objectives

  • Transform traditional orphanages into dynamic centers of learning and training through a truly comprehensive approach to caring for vulnerable youth;
  • Develop an international network among orphanage leaders for the purpose of accountability, transparency, and the exchange of ideas and resources as well as access to an exportable model of inclusive orphan care of a higher standard;
  • Generate a global change of perspective about the challenges faced by vulnerable youth and the methodologies of working with them.
