PACE
IBECOME is a non-profit organization dedicated to steady growth and maximum impact. To ensure that our programs are in line with our goals, we have developed the PACE system of evaluating existing and potential programming.
How Does it Work?
[Problem + Answer] / Cost = Efficiency?
Problem: How Serious/Important is the Problem? IBecome identifies a problem in a target community and rates that problem on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most concerning problem for our target population).
+ (Problem plus Answer)
Answer: How Good is this Particular Answer at Solving the Problem at Hand? IBecome identifies specific programming that can help solve this problem and rates the potential impact of said programming in solving the problem on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 is a result that has excellent positive impact on the target population).
/ (Divided by Cost)
Cost: IBECOME assigns the cost of this program on a scale of time and money. Time is measured 1 to 5 and Money is 1 to 5. These numbers are added together to make the Cost number between 1 and 10.

Efficiency? (Part 1)
The resulting number determines if we should proceed with the program at this time or if we should reconsider. PACE works best when comparing multiple solutions to a problem.
Efficiency? (Part 2)
After the program has been implemented, PACE is then used as a regular review method to see if the program is excelling as it should.
Summary:
PACE serves as a way for IBECOME staff in the field and at home (local populations, volunteers, international employees) to both evaluate future and current programs.
